Fun Company Photos

My boss asked me to photograph some of the teams in the office so we'd have something fun to put on the walls. I had no budget, no costume, no make-up and no space. I had to make do with a tiny little corner of the office, two strobes and a white background. The lack of resources made it quite fun to produce something cool that I could get the teams to do and kind of added to the "cheap parody" feel I wanted out of them.

Thought they'd be worth sharing! All of them are composites - I had no space and not enough lighting to light all the people at the same time, especially in The Last Supper, for example, so I shot that in 4 parts: the left-most 6, JC, Five of them on the right and the guy at the far right who was off on the day we did the rest!

Just shows what you can do, even with minimal equipment if you put your mind to it

In the middle one, the 'tall' guy looks a lot like the M*A*S*H era Alan Alda, the girl in the center has a little young Demi Moore about her (although the facial structure isn't quite right), and the short guy on the right is channeling some Leonardo De Caprio - at least to my eyes.

The middle image was inspired by a very famous British comedy sketch called "The Class Sketch" from a show called the Frost Report in the 60s/70s. Here it is:

The set up was a very basic white backdrop with two strobes at about 30 degrees each side from front and just behind me.
