I take it, you didn't use all three of your speedlights. Would make ad shots for the hat, or all of the attire for that matter. Cool shots.

Just used one of my 600r heads from straight above/camera right, I wanted it to almost have an affect like a street light or something.

my only nitpick, is that in the second image, im still seeing some minor background residue.

i agree with the crop suggestion for #2 as well.

Yeah Im usually very strict on my self about using the rule of 3rd's when I'm not using symmetry, but for this one I thought I'd try something different and ease up on it a little bit but still have slightly more space on the right. I guess I should just go back to it though.

Also I couldn't see the background "residue" until I tilted my screen differently, easy fix.

IMO, lots of attitude, no emotional impact because I can't see any person - just a little glint of eyes would change it all
