g9 questions

I'm a virtual newbie to the higher end digital world (had an Olympus stylus 6mp 2yrs ago, then broke it) with my recent purchase of a canon g9. I find the manual it came with to be roughly written and not too explanatory. Is there a book or website anyone can recommend to help me learn to utilize this camera to it's fullest? Thanks in advance for consideration.
