Galactic core- from my front porch

As an experiment I thought I would see if light pollution would prevent an image of the milky way from my house. After I posted this on flickr I realized I was unhappy with the color (overcooked), but it was still kinda fun. Was surprised and pleased to see how much you could pull out even in town (albeit, very small town!)...

Coulda upped the ISO a tad and dropped to 15 seconds, but that seemed OK as it was.
