Google lens says it is Viburnum.

That rose is a gorgeous color. Do you know the name?

thank you.. i will look that up.. my husband loves roses... he might know..or forgot since it has been about 20 years since he planted it.. was a gift... love plant gifts.. This is what i really wanted to know about the bush since this year it is overwhelmed with berries..

Wow what a great plant. Will have to look around to see if I can find a good spot for one. My birds are very happy this year.

New clematis Giselle - I’m in love

I love the contrast between these peachy pink cone flowers and this purple Veronica

Blue and red Cardinal flower

Got a Hardy Hibiscus which is a perennial around here. This one has green foliage and deep fuchsia flowers. I’m on the lookout for one with the dark foliage and cream colored blooms.

Expanded the small shelf on the outside of my deck. Did it myself. It’s not perfect but it is sturdy. Have to wait for the pressure treated wood to weather before I can stain it to match and in a few years the hydrangeas should hide those posts. Got to figure out a better spot for that hose.

The shelf looks great to me! When you're outside working things have to be within easy reach - especially water!

Your Cardinal flowers are lovely! Two of my original 3 plants have died back (as advertised). The one that is left got chewed up and never recovered. I planted a beautiful Black Truffle Cardinal flower last summer and it performed well. This year it's been struggling. I'm blaming the excessive heat waves we've had and still hoping for some blooms.

Could be just regular trumpet vine in bloom. Is it climbing?

Some of them can grow aggressively in the summer. Hummer magnets, too!

yes i looked it up.. it is a regular Trumpet vine.. and yes climbing all over bush.. i cannot get to root so i took some clippings.. hopefully will root and i have a good place for it to go for hummers... thank you

I need a tiller and mulch.

MLW and I picked up a couple things at our favorite farm stand and mini greenhouse: A cardinal plant (native) which I planted in front of the house. The tall garden phlox, and Black-Eye-Susans went at the top of the hill-that-can't-be-mowed. There will be a lot more stuff put on the hill.
