at first it didn't work for me, but then i saw that it said it works best with 500 words or more so i added some more text and it figured me out. i'm often mistaken for a guy when all people have to go by is text (believe it or not).

anyway here... give it a shot. :)

they think im a guy..

and in my text i was squealing about the fact that chris martin is marrying gwyneth paltrow and not me, how big a wuss i am because i thought i was bitten by a spider and felt faint, and wrote words like baaaabbeeeee and described myself as a cowgirl clutz.

Shows what those science guys know.

female: 199

male: 127

So it was right! It claims an 80% target rate.

I think the algorithm (or my writing style!) needs work...

Female score 185
Male score 514.

Sheesh... I know I'm not your typical gal, but really! :guilty:

The Gender Genie thinks the author of this passage is: femal

Well, my wife says I am more intouch with my femine side than most men she as known. So I guess its okay. ( I cry when a Hallmark commercial comes on. Laugh and I will beat you up.)

The Gender Genie thinks the author of this passage is: male!

I only typed like 140 words

alas the day when i see it for the last time
alas the day i send away the last sad rhyme
alas the day, when alone i lay
for the present
perpetual joy
an inseparable couple
forever
seemingly impossible
no boundaries are concieved
they tried us, for none of them believed
in us, in Love, in living
in heaven, in this
i wish
you knew
how much
i Love you

i know you do, that you feel it too
but i could never say it clearly
how your held so, in my heart.
firm and dearly

manly writings indeed

well it was right..

Well I tried this in the past and it always said I was a female. I never wrote more than a sentance or two.

I tried it again writing a short story about light-saber wielding mongolian fighters sacking the city of damascus. This time it scored me a male.
