I had no idea that Thanksgiving was about any form of a deity. As a matter of fact, I don't think any god had a hand in it whatsoever. I mean, me being an Atheist and all would kind of make me hesitate to agree with any of the previous "god" or "jesus" statements.

Anyways, I thought it was about the raping and pillaging of the Native Americans that originally were the main inhabitants of the area. I suppose I could have extracted a different meaning from text books read long ago, but I am quite sure I hit the nail on the head.
