I'm not a Canon user, but I do agree with what everyone above has said.

The Rebel XT creates roughly 3 mb jpeg files


And yes Simply, that card will indeed work.

So today I put in an order for my Rebel XT and it should be here Thursday I hope. I also orderded this card http://www.adorama.com/IDSU15SD4GB.html?searchinfo=Sandisk 4 GB Ultra II&item_no=1 because you said it would work for the Rebel XT but now I am having people tell me it will not work for the Rebel XT it will only work for the Rebel XTi. So now I have to go buy a new card and have a useless 4gig

4 gig Compact flash cards will work. However that one will not since it's SD. It also will not work on the XTi.
