This goes along the same lines as posted, I believe by Robn185 but a totally different method to making the ghost images.

Nicely done. I am disturbed by what appears to be a headless figure, though. The large mass halfway up the frame, on the right half of the frame, looks like a man's shoulders as seen from behind? Where's his HEAD?!

Is this a straightfoward composite, rather than a "multiple exposure" then?

I am not certain that I am in love with the Christmas In Black and White idea. This feels like a "riot of color" minus the color, which is either very good or kind of lousy, and I am mulling over which. Maybe it's both! It could be!

Unfortunately, the riot of color was quite garish due to the high ISO, lots of neon, flashing lights on mirror balls, and lights that twinkled incessantly. The color didn't work at all.In the true sense of a composite, I don't think this what it is. I shot four images (tripod) and merged them to Adobe's HDR, did some minor adustments then saved as a tiff, reopened in raw and made more adjustments, then into photoshop for more tricks and stuff.

Just for kicks, I made a second image incorporating both the color and B&W images.

Oh I like that. It's a bit of a worn out gimmick to use b&w to represent a "past" and color for "now" but it works.

The colors are awful, though, you're right. Ugh.
