People have been doing this for years in the astronomy world. Whats funny is that telescope are almost always OIL spaced. The guy made a huge deal about that and how he seemed confused. TMB telescopes based here make telescopes this same way of course it is all built to precision. All in all it is still neat to see DIY stuff. I wonder how the chromatic aberration holds up. At that Price I would assume it would be an achromatic lens with High C/A
