Gibraltar Sunset

Was bored and thought i would take a few shots today. 1st one from my window, 2nd from my band hq.

Dont know if the silhouette effect works here but i thought i would give it a try.

The second one appeals to me more than the first, even though the foreground is a tad busy, but I see how you tried to play with the differently coloured light through that boat's window.

Composition of the first leaves the horizon line almost centred, which is not quite as appealing ... and there is much going on in the foreground, none of which can be recognised. This leaves me with an uneasy feeling of wanting to see more ... but maybe other are just very fond of this particular aspect.

Critique is always so subjective!

yeah have to bump up the foreground in the first one, after posting it i starting disliking it a bit... will re-post it later
