Gimp 2 software

I have downloaded the free version of Gimp 2 to start with some of my photo editing. I have some family beach portraits that are way to noisy due to my ISO levels being high. can anyone tell me where i need to go in the software to help reduce this and make my pictures look better.

Gimp does not have built in noise reduction. Just google "gimp noise reduction". There are some free plugins that should help.
