Hi

I've started to get an interest in portrait photography since I got my new flash gun. I've always been into landscape photography, but so far I find portrait photography more challenging.

And tips on how to get the model to pose well would be greatly appreciated.

Here's a recent attempt.

I like it (not only your photo but the house is fantastic mate!).

Maybe you should have put this in critique?

I think the lighting is pretty good. A bit brighter on the right hand side would have been good. I am hoping you get some comments on this one. I've also decided to attack the challange of portraits (not entirely sucessfully) so I'll be interested to see what advice you get.
