Gitzo Quick Release Plate and Blackrapid Strap

Hello all,

I'm new to this forum...and wondering if anyone can help me.

I have bee using a Blackrapid strap for some time and have really gotten used to it. In fact I love it! I had been using it on a Manfrotto quick release plate which has a ring/loop to which you can attach the Blackrapid strap. But I just bought a Gitzo tripod & tripod head which obvioulsy works with a very different quick realease plate and does NOT have a ring fpr the strap. I've tried contacting Blackrapid several times by email and get no answer... I'm not impressed. :thumbdown:
The photo shop I deal with was told by the distributor rep that Blackrapid does not have any solution for me.

Does anybody know of a fix for this?

Hi Lesvanperfek, welcome to the forum.

Which tripod head - can you post a picture so that we can see it. If we know how it looks, then maybe there might be a suggestion or two. It may be that there is a "non-standard" approach, or maybe a different tripod head(?) - don't know until I see what it is that you are talking about.

Just unscrew the blackrapid atachment head when you need it off for christ sake. It takes about 3 seconds.

mine takes 2 seconds..........must be the quick unlock one i got
