Caught this (not so) little sucker in the kitchen last night. Snapped a couple of pics and then tossed him in the empty lot next door.

that first photo is awsome and creepy! haha.
 
The glass was really a false sense of security. He jumped right out as I was walking him out of the yard.
 
The first pic would have greater impact if the focus was sharper.

I totally agree. Im dying to get a DSLR and some good, fast glass. Right now Im shooting with a Sony DSC-R1. Which isnt really condusive to the type of stuff I like. Its still good practice until I get the loot together though.

Wow they both look so extraordinary.. Makes me glad that I'm not scared of spiders!
 
schweet! i like the first one alot! but the second isnt as great with the leg glare as you mentioned but still very cool. im really glad there arent spiders like that in my kitchen
