I took this photo about 8 years ago with a yashica 35 mm slr I had. I have no scanner so I took a macro with the A40 and did some touching in photoshop. It's a little contrasty but tolerable.

I can see it!

I think this shot is okay, I'm not sure what you could have done better, considering the angle and surroundings of the building, but it seems a little flat and cluttered. Nothing too exciting about it. You have dozens of beautiful photographs on your website. I don't think this one lives up to the work that you're capable of.

It looks like you rendered the sky with the clouds filter. Chance your sky came out a really light blue or even white? As personal use for the photo it doesnt matter. But I'm sure you know that kind of manipulation could never be accepted in a magazine. Although commercial photography manipulates all the time. so what do i know.
