Neat shot - almost overexposed in places. The only thing I would do is clone out the wire in the upper left.

From the thread title I expected to see a tornado or hurricane. That is a great lightning shot.
There are many alternative to Photoshop. GIMP is free and is very useful though it takes some getting use to.
