Hi everyone- I've been photographing my kids, other people's kids, and anything kid related for the last 4 years, and I'm ready to try something new. I've been wanting to do something much more whimsical, fun, playful and I'd love your thoughts- I'm ready for good, bad, and ugly!

Ha! These are cute. I think I prefer the first. Something about the 2nd feels off but I can't quite put my finger on it. Very fun idea you have going though

Not bad at all! The concept is excellent; the only real nit is that your lighting doesn't quite match, for instance in the airplane shot, the key light on the hand is coming from image left, but for the children it's on-axis, which is contributing to the slightly 'off' look, but that's relatively minor.

Thanks everyone! I have a lot of learning to do, but excited to have come this far. Perspective and lighting are going I be where I plan to keep practicing. About the lighting- I realized this as well while I was editing- the light was side left on the airplane and then I shot the kids in front lighting. Gah! I'll remember to keep that consistent for next time.

Both of these are very cute, lighting a bit discordant - the children are a bit cold in the first
I think you should crop closer to make the children more important in the frame on both of these.
I think the second one could use a bit more space at the bottom

I didn't even see the kids in the first one on the train until Lew cropped them. Great ideas and I'm sure other parents would love their kids in a shot like that.

It's the DOF on the children.

They are all also a bit dark/dreary. Like make them more light/cheery!
