Hello,

Thanks for reading my post. I am looking for a camera that filters all light except for wavelengths at around 595 nm. Do they make camera filters of this type? If so, who sells this?

Sure. Just go to Google and type "595nm narrow bandpass filter". You should get several hits.

595nm is a yellow/golden color visible light. I should add... whenever you block out all light except for one narrow band, you are effectively just doing monochromatic imaging. At which point... usually a B&W sensor is a better option than a color camera. You can false-color the image if you want to see it as color.

This is because every photo site on a B&W sensor is sensitive to light. Whereas the Bayer mask on a color imager has photo sites which are only sensitive to red, or green, or blue, and creates all other colors via a combination of those three. Since you'll only be capable of receiving light at one wavelength, you'll get better resolution if every photo site is capable of registering the light -- which is what you get with a B&W sensor.
