So for the ones with the black dress...
Should I have exposed them a bit more, used a flash or some sort of lighting?
I have a speedlight, but really haven't messed with it other than cars at night.

I think #3 is the best one from an editorial fashion statement. I would crop #2 into a horizontal at her waist.

Yes.

Really it was just the first two that had issues. The dress and the shoes bleed together.
