Got a Gift Card - What to Do???

Hi Everyone, I got a Samy's Gift Card worth $1483. I've been thinking of selling it but I dont really want to. I've been waiting Foreverrrrrrr.... for an update to the Nikon D300s but alas 2yrs have gone by and still nothing. What do you guys think I should do with it.

Either get a D300s or get a Nikon D7100 24.1 MP DX-Format CMOS Digital SLR (Body Only)

At this stage of the game it looks that there will be no D300s replacement. Apparently, Nikon no longer sees a sufficient prosumer DX market to justify one.

Don't wait for a 300s replacement. It's not coming. The D300s is still a great camera though. I'd get that and pick up some good glass.

I had a D7000 until I had an unfortunate accident with a water bag while in Hawaii. I got the insurance from the camera and bought a Sony A77 and a Tamron lens, it was cool but I didnt like the glass that was available. I returned that one and got a gift card for 2500 thinking I'd wait for the replacement of the D300s. Time went by and still no 300s update so I bought a new lens for my D200. So now here I sit with my $1483 (round number, lol) thinking of what to do with it.

Its not exactly enough to pick up another DSLR, maybe the Fuji x-Pro1. Iono... I was hoping you guys could give me some insight. I like to take actions shots of my sons games, some macro stuff, im not too good with portrait (my stuff tends to look the same), been doing some B/W with my dads old FE.

C'mon guys no input to my second post? What about the Go Pro 3 Black Edition? That's on sale at Samy's for No Tax right now.

I've been thinking about maybe picking up an Action Sports type camera. The Go Pro would be my first choice, but im not too fond of its chunky size. Does anyone have experience w/ the following Action type cameras?

-Go Pro 3 Black
-Sony HDR
-Replay XD
-Contour+2

Criteria I'm looking for is:

-HD 1080p Quality
-Great SlowMo Recording in HD
-Good Audio Recording
-Rugged/Submersible
-Mountable- i.e Cars, Motorcycle, Bicycle, Helmet
-Easily Operable
