There's an app for that. Nikon Manual Viewer or something along those lines. Then just download your camera's manual and go to town. You'll have so much fun that then you'll be downloading all Nikon's manuals and reading about cameras you don't even own.

I downloaded two manuals for the D3300 soon after it came out. One is very basic and says to point the camera and take the picture (users manual), the other does go into all the settings available (reference manual).
