I say "professional" but i have had no formal classes or training when it comes to any photography. I have learned all from trial and error and reading books. so I'm quite new to this.

haha gotta love those canons. Im saving up for an upgrade. Not sure what to upgrade to just yet though. any ideas?

So your last name is Photography?

I like #4 but no centering!!

lol.. photography is my love.. so it could be. and thanks for the input.

thanks for the input.. i will definitely do my research on it.

I've had this camera for close to a year and I still haven't mastered it yet. I spent money on some decent used primes and a flash. The camera will give you some really nice shots if you know what you're doing. So what I'm saying is "Save your money and master the camera you have" and "Gear doesn't make the photographer". I see too many people go down that path and the only result is more used gear for me to buy.

Sigh...

Can I just ask a question, do you think your shooting professionally only because you have a DSLR?

I know the first picture is of lightning but I cant figure out what the rest of the picture is, its mostly black.

I think the second picture would look a bit better if it wasn't so over processed.

Fourth picture, look up rule of thirds. Rules are made to be bent but this image would look much nicer without all the empty space at the top. If you crop it, it would be better :) Also the big slanted white line in the background is distracting.

Keep shooting and maybe look into some workshops, I found them very helpful.

I say "professionally" because I am actually getting paid for some of the shoots that I do, Not because of the camera. and thank you for your input. I post my stuff on here for constructive criticism to see what I need to do to get better.
