Thank you! They are not corvids, but related. The Boat-tail is actually a costal bird, but somehow made it up here to the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, most likely chased by a storm in the past. They congregate in the trees around parking lots, and on the wires at road intersections, and make a horrendous noise when they are grouped together, as well as quite a mess below. They act a lot like gulls and have a similar diet.
