This fella has been showing up at a local pond, he,s given me a chance to put my new Canon 100-400 through its paces!

The second shot is a little soft, but the first is nicely sharp and well exposed - I'd be happy with that.

Agree,, I guess thats the differance between (for me) hand held and using a tripod and mirror lock up.
