Great Horned Owls

Had an incredible day on Friday. When told I didn't have to work, made plans to check out a GBH rookery. Found it. Took a ton of photos. (Need to go through them) Talked to a lot of great people. Several asked if I knew about the owl nest nearby. I did not. Tagged along with a few adventurous folks. Glad I did. Supposedly there are 3 little ones in there.

Lucky you! Very nice set. I know you wanted to get close-ups but I think one of both the adult and little one would be a great addition. You gotta go back!

PS: I like the launch in #3.

Thank you. #1 has both. #3 is my favorite too. We found the male as well but, he was deep in the shadows. I'll be going back.

I guess I was thinking more like #2 but also able to see the full adult above. Anyway, nice shooting.
