This is a great time to buy into the market. All the stocks and funds are at fire sale prices with no where to go but up.
Where would you park money for the best return and tax write off as capital gains?
I was surprised to learn that even at the current low rate of return from mutual funds, it is possible to double your principal, if it is large enough and not touched for 5 years and this is from Canadian banks that are more regulated than their American counterparts.
