Green bridge in the desert

Buzz and I were in Arizona for just over a week. We spent most of our time wandering through small towns in the area between Phoenix and Flagstaff - Peyson, Cottonwood, Jerome, Yarnell, Prescott. On New Year's Eve, we were in Cottonwood and it snowed - apparently this was more snow than they'd had in at least 10 years (depending on who you talked to, that number went as high as 40.)

So Buzz and I spent a lovely day wandering around town in the snow and along the creek. I've got a few more shots from that day, but here's the first one I processed. My Coffee House peeps have already seen this and helped me fix the color cast

Honestly, I've liked pretty much every version of it, color cast or no.

But I'm with John; I can't believe "Currier & Ives" has become such an obscure reference!

Sharon, I've seen those prints before but I just never connected them to a specific name. I don't know if that's my age (I'm not that young) or maybe my upbringing ("Americana" wasn't really abundant in a household run by my Portuguese immigrant parents ) or maybe just my own myopia
