I guess this could've been my first post but I got too excited
I live in Vancouver, BC where the scenery never fails, but I'm still gaining the skillset to capture the beauty in an image. I do have a log way to go but I'm very enthusiastic about it and some photos I've seen here keep me intrigued. I'm not specific about what type of photography interests me just yet but I do like it all.
My equipment thus far is what's in my sig. I plan to just keep my collection of glass at that for now until I master pushing what I have to it's full potential. Hopefully by then I'd have a better idea which lenses and equipment would bring my vision and experience to photos I can really enjoy.
The birth of my daughter is what really got me looking into DSLR's. I was just looking into a really good non point and shoot camera that can take photos worth developing. As I sunk further into the capabilities of SLR's and what imagery you can accomplish, I was sold. Then priorities and diapers took over and I never got one. My mother eventually pulled out my old man's T3 and I got to playing with it on my own time and it was over from there!
I chose the Nikon though due to a combination of capabilities+money at hand/feel and setup of the whole thing. Either way I love both Canons and Nikons.
Get ready for me to post some garbage people
Gotta learn somehow!
