Did a few impromptu shots of the girlfriend, at a park yesterday. Played around with some retouching.. spent an hour or two on this one. Comments welcome!

Your girlfriend is very pretty! She has stunning eyes, and you focused on them perfectly!

The photo is great overall. If I had only one minor criticism, it would be that the white balance seems slightly warm. Then again, it might just be my monitor.

Yeah I went for some warm tones, I played around with a colder white balance but wasn't feeling it too much

everything mentioned above, but its a bit to touched up for my taste. looks to airbrushed on the skin softening. eyes look good as well as your DOF is nice.

Maybe at minute 1, the girlfriend actually looked like this.

The retouching is ok but Im not a fan of the DoF. Seems too shallow as some of her hair in the foreground is blurred and the teeth. was this at a f1.4 or something?

Lol nah I was just following Scott Kelby's Photo Retouch Book and went through the retouches which took some time. Then I messed around with different looks and stuff, so all in all, it took awhile.

Shot at f/2.0 IIRC at 50mm, yeah bummer on losing focus on the teeth

Agree with DOF comment and over-retouching. Otherwise, very pretty girl.

I would pull back a little on the retouching as well. I think the DOF is great. It is a great shot. She should be glad to have it.
