I read a tutorial that Nein-reis put up re his process for some images and decided to give it a try...

I love the look but the detail disappears so much at the lower half of the gate that I wonder that a slightly lighter version might be more enjoyable.

hmm I've got plenty of detail showing on my monitor....running 22" Samsung syncmaster, so don't know as it's usually not a problem. Glad you like the look anyway.

Ah nice, thanx, time to try this technique.

It is extremely dark which may mean that it is not sRGB in terms of colour space.
