Guatemala Shots

I'm working on black and white treatment of some of my shots from Guatemala. I'm using a few of the Lightroom presets and then trying to sharpen/treat in PS as well.

I like them but not sure the color in the second one works.... doorway shot is very nice

I really like the first pictures, as if you painted it, not photographed.

In #1, is that some kind of artifacting on the overhead wires (top left). I think I'd lose the wires anyhow. Everything else I like.
