It looks to me like you shot at f/24, 1/60sec., with a 35mm focal length of 73, and used center weighted average metering mode. That's just from the quick glance I took.
If I am not mistaken I counted a width of 1600 pixels and a height of 1200 pixels and it is 72 dpi. and the compressed bits/pixel are...I'd say 32.8
Again, just at a glance.

What was in the first post again? I know it was a ways up there...
Yes, for a first time photographer, they are nice pics. Look at images you really like and compare differences, try to figure what they did differently, then try to mimick it. Play with camera settings on the same shot and find what works and why. And read, read, read.
But mostly, at first, use the camera everywhere and learn to see what it sees.
Imagine the scene through the lens and take the pic and see how close you got. Where are the frame edges?
Lastly just have fun, in everything, not just photography.

C'mon, I imagine he meant to learn to envision what image is coming thru the lens and being recorded by the camera (or something along those lines) - not that the camera literally sees.

You guys, this is the beginner section. How about treating the OP accordingly? Maybe he/she is new enough to photography to not even realize the EXIF data would be viewable to other people.

Cass, I'd watch your framing; the first and third are slightly cut off so you could've used a little more space in those. I'd suggest you keep practicing and think about what you see in your viewfinder and if that's what you want in your picture.
