bought haminex praktica 1b
all u experts please tell me if this camera is good.

Your camera [Praktica Nova lb] was produced in the late 60's or early 70's. If well-cared for and if nothing is broken or inoperative, it's a perfectly fine M42-mount body.

There are quite a few M42 mount lenses for sale on eBay and other sources such as KEH camera. They are available at reasonable prices.

do u have recommendations on books/videos on how to get really good pictures.

i know there are a lot of factors into great pictures, but don't know where to start.

if u could point me in the direction, i'd be grateful
