One from all the march bdays..

my thoughts...
- sides of the "happy birthday" are oof could have benefited from a larger fstop
- white blur on right side and top black part is distracting
- perhaps get the fruit into focus too

what do you guys think?

You mean smaller f/stop? Larger f/stop would throw even more of it oof. (f/stop refers to the physical opening, not the number).

use a smaller f/stop like a few steps from what you shot that with. and i also agree with the white blurred object on the right side. the composition is appealing though. just fix the aperture and you'll be good.

Yeah DOF is really shallow, you should've increased your f/stop to expand it a bit.
