Me, I'm staying in. I'll have my hands full with two cats who are terrified of fireworks, which will likely start around here as soon as the sun sets.

We got through it! It was slightly worse than I feared, with a couple of neighbors joining together for fireworks right next door. The cats cowered under the bed for 5-6 hours. We coaxed them out a couple of times, but anytime that long whistle sound started up, they galloped out of the room. Poor things!

@limr: We watched a few episodes of The Twilight Zone, too. These marathons are fun! An impossibly young Leonard Nimoy had a bit part in one of them. So campy, so cool.
