After all the rain - at last a few dry days and the haymakers and combines are coming out of hibernation. Over my back fence - made a change from producing 800 wedding and family gathering prints!

Similar scenes are to be seen around here, too, for we had all that rain, too, only maybe a little milder (not as much in one place only as the folks in Gloucestershire, for example) and always a day or two later, but as consistent, and the farmers had to hold back and hold back and hold back, too. This is said to be a lovely weekend, though, so everyone now goes out to do the things they couldn't do in weeks.

A pretty, pastoral sight. I like how you've composed it, with the golden stalks given prominence, some mown down already, and taking up a diagonal portion of the shot. The wooden carts in the background add interest to the shot. Well done, Fangman, and it's great to see you posting again. (800 prints of a wedding and family gathering...no wonder you've been busy!)
