Okay, this morning I woke up and I swear for a good minute I had no idea where I was! Now admittedly I have been traveling a lot the last few months but that was a strange feeling. Has this ever happened to you???

Yes! We recently moved our bedroom to the basement and I still wake up sometimes and I'm confused about where I am.

Absolutely! Usually while traveling or shortly thereafter. It's a weird sense of disorientation, isn't it? Kinda cool though.

not that exactly, but for a few days after getting back from a cruise, i still felt like i was on the ship, my room felt like it was swaying back and forth...lol

Yes, I know the feeling. I've had it after I had been away from home for a while... funny feeling, isn't it?
What I find funny, too, is how you can wake up, still have your eyes closed, and be convinced it is later than normal. Which it was on Monday morning, we happily overslept for one whole hour :roll: Oops, that was a "jump start" into the day then

I've woken up a few times thinking I was still in my old loft.

Or when I wake up on the couch after a tv watching, drool filled slumber.

It happens to me while I am driving.. while I am in totally familiar places.. Day dreaming I guess., deep thought maybe.

You probably woke up from an intense dream, and where disoriented.. cool feeling though~!!

The other day I woke up on the couch and didn't hear my kids (I thought I dozed off while watching them play). I raced around the house before I realized it was nap time.

I do remember parties that would... go on a bit. People tended to pass out where they were so I have woken up under piano's, in piano's, in kitchen sinks and flower beds - along with everyone else.
Next morning the first person to remember who they were - let alone where they were - won. I normally cheated by writing my name on the back of my hand (Some wit once changed it to 'Princess Margaret' when I was asleep and I had a panicky 10 minutes the next day).
