Have you ever...?

So the other day I'm out taking some photos of the fall colors...I didn't have my tripod so I'm trying to get enough DOF while still maintaining enough shutter speed to keep the pics sufficiently sharp.

I'm using the DOF preview button to check that what I want is in focus. The viewfinder gets pretty dark at F16, so I'm looking for a long time so that I can adjust to the image.

After I drove away, I though to myself...maybe it would have been easier if I had taken my sun glasses off!

Man, I felt like an idiot. :?

You know what's even worse? I have gone into work several times WEARING my sunglass and didn't even notice. I wear perscription ones and I feel like a dork.
