When I open an NEF file, I get a minibox that allows me to compensate exposure and adjust white balance. However, on the adobe website, they have a full box that opens and many things to adjust. I downloaded the plug-in from their website. It is free, right? Mine didn't cost anything.

I am just confused as to what I am supposed to be able to do, and whether or not my plug-in is really the plug-in.

I have the D-70 as well and managed to get the plu-in downloaded and it works. It will let you view the NEFs as thumbnails and select the image you want. It will open it in another window but you just click ok or something like that and it will open it in the full adobe program. I'm not at my computer right now so I can't remember the exact buttons I use. I am also working with Adobe CS.

I’m sure there are much more knowledgeable people here that will help you.

I think that the full support might be for CS only. I have 7.0 and I get the same thing that you get. If you figure out how to get the full functionality in 7.0 though I'd love to know about it.

Yes. I have CS as well. Hmmm, this is confusing.
