HDR - photos from Norway! As always, Criticism appreciated

If you number your images you make it easier for people to c&c and try to keep the image count down to 2-3 images, that way you will get more in-depth c&c as opposed to a "nice image".

1. Lovely view, a little too much saturation for my taste. I also feel that the image is somewhat flat since you haven't included any foreground subject to give that sense of scale, and placing the horizontal line in the middle is not a good choice since the ground/sky now compete for the interest, instead of leading the viewers eye to the most prominent parts of the image. (In this image I'd suggest you crop away 50% of the sky since the fjord contain the most visual interest.)

2. Great black/white conversion and a great sense of scale! You could however have placed the silhouette more according to the rule of thirds in this image instead of centering it.

3. Nice view of the landscape and good colors, not sure if I like the underexposed parts of the bottom of the image.

4. I understand the intent of giving the viewer an understanding of the height (and some vertigo ) but, the image feels way to busy with no clear subject to rest your eyes on and with the over-saturated colors the tilted horizon and the hdr-ish look i feel the image is an abstract rather than a landscape.

5. I really like this one! Great use of the fish-eye also great colors in the fore/middleground though there seems to be a bluish color-cast and some overexposed sky on the background, still a neat capture.

6. I'd say this is the best of the bunch great colors, consider cloning out the group of people behind the main silhouette so she'll then look like a solitary.

Beer is expensive. All alcoholic beverages are. A bottle of cheap white wine is less expensive than a six pack of 0.5L beers, so that is more student friendly. And only one store is allowed to sell stuff that's not beer, such as wine, spirits etc.

Don't you have to have a permit to buy spirits and wine ? Beer was free at the bike club we stopped at in Harstad they wouldn't let us pay for anything :thumbup:

I'm sure people from Harstad can ease up on the rules. If one live there, chances are the town has one police car at their disposal...

I don't need a note from my parents, or from the police or anything. I need my ID to prove I'm old enough. But that's all. Once above 20, I can buy whatever I want (as long as I bring my ID, which can be a bank card, driver's license, passport etc).

I'm not very good at critisicm but i will give you my opinion on some of them
1- i really like the contrast between the colors in the photo,adds interest.
4-i dont know where your subject is or where do you want me to look.
6- i just love it.
