Headed to the fabric store...need some background suggestions please

I've been using black velvet for my black background and was curious what other fabrics people were using. I do most of my work on location in client's homes and prefer natural lighting. I have a newborn and maternity session coming up this week. I'd love to try out some new backgrounds. Suggestions?

Yep, turn right at the fabric store and continue to the camera store. You'll be lucky to find bolt fabric more than 66" wide; backdrops should be at least twice that.

Muslin comes in withs 9' or 10' and can be found in black, tan and white. You can also tie die for that speckled back ground. Most cost around $3 to $6 a yard. You'll need about 6 yards.
