Although a tedious job, the makeup could be fixed. I run into this issue with my daughter, who is a teenager and just gobs on the mascara and makes a mess of it. I always have to fix it in post. There's no fast way to do it. I zoom all the way in and use a very small sized healing brush. Sometimes I have to make a few layers, 50% opacity first layer, 50% second layer, etc. to get it all to blend in seamlessly. It sucks.

I know how I could fix it but I didn't know it was off to begin with when I did my edit. Now that my wife has explained how the line should be I will watch out for that. That's probably the one huge advantage women photographers have is knowing if make up isn't right

The faces seem almost featureless to me due to the quality of light (and retouch??). Even in complete shade there are subtle shadows that help sculpt the shape of the face, rather than a skin colored oval with eyes, nostrils and lips. The tonality is nice, but I would look for a bit more contrast in the light vs shadow area.
