This is a shot I took a little while ago, Miss Em was flipping through my flickr and reacted to it so I thought I would post it for your thoughts.

I never settled on one crop or the other as a favorite so I posted both.

I mostly achieved what I set out to do with the shot but I'm on the fence about it and can't put my finger on why. I can say that the colour combination doesn't really thrill me but that might be personal taste.

I won't say what comes to mind for me and see if it reads the same to others .

I like the top image better. It's "bigger", and easier to see.

I'm with Derrel - #1 is better. I thought this was a PS radial blur, then looked closer and saw it isn't. Pretty neat shot.

Thanks Derrel and Jaemie, good point, my eye wanders more in #2 and not necessarily in a good way.
