Helped out a friend giving a workshop on shooting stars, twilight and later this summer, the Milky way...it was fun.

Twilight Time F:/4, ISO 800, 5 seconds

A Shooting Star - I lit the foreground dock with a small LED flashlight at 1 second on a 10 sec exposure at ISO 2500

Star Trails..too much moon rising to get a proper time exposure. This was at ISO 100, f:/4, 22 minutes.

Well done on the photos...
As far as the title - you must be really old (or at least as old as me).

Grew up listening to the Platters. I think I was near on to 10 years old when this song became popular...along with the Great Pretender.

I like the short star trails shot the most. Good use of the LED flashlight for a quick light paint shot.

Hmmm...like the title...original release by Jimmy Dorsey with Teddy Walters on vocals ca. 1945. Popularized by the Platters ca. 1958 and last recorded by Willie Nelson ca. 1988. I remember the last two :biggrin-93: .

I like the second picture best of the bunch. Looks like you may have captured a satellite or something "tumbling" in space just above the meteorite trail.
