Hi! I stumbled upon this site by accident while I was looking for a camera to buy. This forum looks great! I'm new to photography and just bought a Canon 10D. I know the camera is nothing to brag about (compared to others newer higher end model cameras), but I'm just starting and never used a dslr before. I'm so new I haven't received my camera yet (shipping). LOL
Why photography? I love taking pics of my family. I want to capture every moment. I think I got some great shots from my simple point and shoot. So, why not take it a step further? I have 2 favorite photographers I get family photos from. They inspire me. I'm not looking to do anything professional for quite some time since I am learning. I just want to take it slow and enjoy the craft.
With everyone's help I'm hoping to learn the tricks of the trade here!
