What's new

Hello everyone C&C please

I like the original image#3. The underexpose adds a nice mood to it.

thank you, that was my original thought

thank you.

i have nikon d90. all of these were taken w/ 35mm 1.8.
those little squares are autofocus points am i correct?? im not sure if i do understand. you mean for me to focus(concentrate) on one of those square and focus or set something in the settings for the camera to focus on only one?? hopefully i make sense to you :)
Hi, I'm not sure how your camera works, but on my canon (and I imagine that your camera can do the same), have an option of auto focus, or manual focus. In manual focus, I have 9 different spots that I can choose for the camera to focus on. Choose one of those spots, based upon your composition, and centre it over the eye for a perfectly clear eye.
BTW, I've heard of quite allot of people who can never do good work, and blame it on their tools, You know, "a bad worksman blames his tools", in this case, you obviously don't have the technical side of your camera down yet, but that certainly doesn't stop you from taking phenomenal shots. You obviously have the eye and innate talent, now you just need the technical side to catch up to be really great.
Keep at it, and good luck.
