I can say now, I see no problems. Keep on with what you're doing because it's superbly creative photography in my eyes.

#1 is pretty darn cool. Like the lighting on the lense and those creepy hands! lol

I say, keep doing whatever it is that you're doing....because those pics are pretty awesome! #4 made me laugh =P

The composition and creativity of the images is good, but there are some technical issues that could stand improvment. All suffer exposure issues ranging from slightly (#1, 2) to severely (#3, 4) under-exposed. Additionally, the images of the dog would benefit from more critical focus. Always try and ensure that the eyes are as sharp as possible, and as a general rule, avoid having large foreground elements unfocused.

thanks a lot for the kind words and helpful tips, really appreciate it.
ill be taking a lot of photos of the doggy and i'll make sure to keep his eyes sharp. as for the exposure i have trouble with that but that's why im here :)
thank you guys

Wonderful creativity in these shots!

As Diron said, these images over all are underexposed. Now, that isn't as bad as being overexposed because underexposed can be more easily fixed. What camera do you have?

One way to be sure your focus is on the eyes, for instance, is to manually set the focus to be on one Area of Focus - you know, those little squares you see when you look through the eye piece. If you camera allows you to set which one it focuses on, pick one then set that focus area on the eye. Does that make sense? I used this same technique, dare I say, in these shots I took. It does make a difference. ;)

thank you.

i have nikon d90. all of these were taken w/ 35mm 1.8.
those little squares are autofocus points am i correct?? im not sure if i do understand. you mean for me to focus(concentrate) on one of those square and focus or set something in the settings for the camera to focus on only one?? hopefully i make sense to you :)

Hey how do you like the 35mm 1.8? I've been debating getting one instead of a 50mm, as my camera won't auto focus with it. I've heard you have to get much closer to the subject and it's not as good for portraits...but that just may be hear-say.

this is my 2nd day with the 35mm and a dslr camera so i really have no grounds for comparison. but i also have the 50mm and i do like the 35mm better for some reason.

Honestly, I prefer the underexposed version you put in the very beginning of the dog.. I love the effect it gives it.. Great photos.
