I'm mike and i'm new to the boards. I am pretty new to photography to. I am taking high school class on photography. How many ppl here actually use film slr cameras and print themselves?

I, too, am taking a high school class on photography and print most of my stuff myself. I love working in the darkroom.

A couple of my friends and i go out in the hills up here and shoot all the time. We stay after school and print in the darkroom alot too. Its much nicer when its just the 3-5 of us.

BTW...what grade are you in? I'm a sophomore

Hi there,

I take only 35mm film at the moment. For colour, I get it locally developed and CD'd by a lab, then choose the ones I want, negative scan them and print myself. For B&W I do a mixture of the above method and darkroom, depending on the weather and my spare time.

Hello. I use a variety of film cameras (not just SLRs), shoot mostly BW, and develop and print my own BW with a traditional chemical darkroom.
