Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
Hate to lead with one of my best, but I was so excited about this photo it was the first one I edited. My friend was nice enough to come over and show me a cool "gradient map" in photoshop and it was the first time I've used it. I'm still new to photoshop and grid lighting so c&c is welcome! (But be nice when you rip me apart, I'm a fragile little thing ;-) )

Edit: I'm not sure what that white line across the bottom is- it definitely isn't in the origional.

Very nicely done! The exposure is spot on and the lighting is good; my only minor nit is that the shadows on the [image] right side of her left arm are somewhat ragged giving her arm an odd appearance; I think a reflector image right to bring just a hint of light onto the back side of her arm might have helped, but that's VERY minor. Nice telephone! ;)

Nit taken! I might post an original so you can give your thoughts on the SOC shadows. I was trying to use liquify to drop a few pounds and it messed with the shadow. I tried to straighten it, but obviously it's just not "there"

Edited to add a question.....
Believe it or not, I had another grid for fill. Would you have still done a reflector, or just upped the fill light?

Okay tirediron, same pose-different shot. This one had a better arm shadow to begin with, but the face also has more shadow in the eyes. WDYT?

I definitely like #2 better; the differences are subtle, but the facial shadowing and the arm make for a stronger image IMO.

Thanks for your 2 cents!!

Great shots. Really nice indeed.

Thank you! I'm hoping to get permission from the model to share the rest of the session! I can't wait to finish editing them all.
